Ted Present, Ph. D.
I am a carbonate geochemist and sedimentologist, and am currently a research scientist and lecturer at Caltech. I combine traditional tools in sedimentology/stratigraphy with diverse geochemical methods to understand how Earth's environment responds to and enables major biotic transitions. I am teaching Introduction to Geology and Geochemistry and Advanced Field Geology.
